Within 2 or 3 miles of our meeting place is the annual Van Nuys Air Show. For those of us that, like Peter Pan, never grew up and love airplanes, it was a delight. For the first time in recent memory, the temperature on the tarmac was under 150 degrees! Today (June 23, 2003) had a nice overcast and was in the mid 60's.
