Digital Submission
New Submission Standard
We have a new standard for digital submission. The minimum acceptable jpg image must be 1500 pixels on its shortest side and 72 dpi. We are making this change so that each image can be judged in a consistent manner. In addition, so that every entry is anonymous to the judges and other members, each member will be given a 4 digit membership number.
Here is the new file name protocol: instead of using your name, use your 4 digit membership number, and 1 or 2 for the image number. For example, if my membership number was 1234, I would submit my photos as 1234-01.jpg for my first image and 1234-2.jpg for the second. The judge will not know whose image they are judging. Once the judge determines the prize winners, we will then use the membership number to identify the winners names with their images.
Moving forward this will be the only way to submit your photos to assure pixel quality and anonymity. And all images will only be accepted through our website.
If you have any questions, please attend one of the club’s user groups to get them answered. We will be happy to show you how to use the new process.
