Founded in 1982, fStops is the top photography club in the San Fernando Valley. Our friendly members love getting monthly critiques from pro photographers, going on group trips, and attending workshops and seminars. Come check us out and see how you can share your passion with others!

Months Meeting and Critique

The primary objective of this critique is to facilitate your learning and development as a photographer. Through this process, you will gain insights into various aspects such as lighting, composition, exposure, and subject selection. Your photograph will be evaluated to provide you with constructive feedback on both its strengths and areas that require improvement.
Critiques are currently structured on a numerical scale ranging from 4 to 10. A score of 6 indicates a more casual snapshot, while a score of 10 signifies an exceptionally well-crafted image that approaches perfection. ​

Club Meeting

Our club meetings are held every second Thursday of the month at 7 pm. We meet at The Village, located at 9222 Corbin Ave. in Northridge, California, 91324. If you can’t make it in person, don’t worry! We’ll also be hosting the meetings via Zoom.
