I worked in aerospace research and development for almost thirty years and got interested in photography about twelve years ago. I enjoy looking at photography through an engineer’s eye and capturing unusual images. I am active in and have been president of several photography clubs, including judging, producing tutorials and workshops on photography. I've spent most of my summers fly fishing in the Eastern Sierra, in California. Because of this I am very familiar with the beauty and diversity this area has to offer, I started conducting affordable workshops in wildlife and landscape photography. I also conduct local one day photographic workshops entitled: “Photography for the Rest of Us”. I use a wide range of equipment and techniques to achieve the type of feeling and style I want in a photograph. Although I love the out of doors, I love shooting all genres and use everything from pin-hole to 3D anaglyphs to get the shot.
