Nancy Kaye will be our judge for the Open Submission. Please submit up to two images by Monday, July 6 at 8:00 p.m. to [email protected]. Nancy will present ideas for the August Assignment of “Window Light for Portrait or Still Life” at the start of the meeting. I look forward to seeing you all there.
Editing Challenge
We are offering you another opportunity to build on your “darkroom” editing skills. Three images will be posted on our website. You will be able to download and edit them as you see fit. Here is the link: http://www.fstopscameraclub.com/july-editing-challenge.html
Challenge yourself to see the picture in your mind before you start the editing process. Feel free to edit any or all of the images and then send them back by the evening of July 27.
The Lightroom Classic/Photoshop User’s Group
The group had a couple of good meetings before the pandemic. It is time for a Zoom restart. The next meeting will be July 23 at 7:00 p.m. Members are welcome and are able to participate by asking/answering questions. We can use the Editing Challenge as a starting point. The agenda is simple: Come, share ideas, answer questions and learn. Oh yes, and have fun. Bring either your best tip or your toughest question to each meeting. Lloyd Delaney and Terry Mendelson are moderating the group. Please send an email via the fStops website contact form to let us know of your interest. You will receive a Zoom invitation prior to the meeting.
Group Events
Group events are suspended at the moment, but there are lots of safe opportunities to shoot. Here are some examples: Descanso Gardens, Sepulveda Basin, Vasquez Rocks, CSUN, street photography from your car, canyon trails, at your home... We are looking into safe options for small group outings.
