Nancy Kaye will be our judge at the meeting on Thursday, August 13, 7 p.m. The assignment is a portraits or a still life using window light. Submissions are due Monday by 8 p.m.
Other News.
The Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop users group met online and it generally went well. However it was suggested that there be a bit more structure. We will have a demonstration of one technique to start the meeting. We will also try providing a image to edit during the meeting and have attendees send in their work for review. The following meeting some of the stronger edits can be demonstrated by the editor who did the work.
The Photographic Society of America (PSA) offers annual membership at the cost of $45. I joined recently and have found that there are many resources and opportunities to learn and share. It is well worth taking a look at their website: http://psadigital.org/

VPC Valley Photography Club is a new group organized by Jay Ross. Their mission statement: “Our goal is to broaden our knowledge of photography, nurture friendships old and new and to have fun!” The club meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm via Zoom. At the last meeting there was a Peer to Peer Photo Sharing and Critique session. The format will continue to evolve. fStops has invited VPC members to join us for the two upcoming webinars.
